The inspiring movies are according to my colleagues and my research, among the top 50 inspiring movies. They mainly include content and characters that portray hope, gratitude, kindness, and beautiful nature.

Positive Movies 

Based on my 2 cents

  • #RealityHigh  (High School movie with diverse cast and good role modeling. Funny movie, while fostering discussion about social media's impact on teenagers)

  • Captain Fantastic (thought-provoking movie about the western education system and what it means to raise a child in an industrial society)

  • Black Mirror (Netflix TV show. Some of the episodes are particularly concerned with smartphone use and AI and its potential dark future)

The documentaries are selected based on my personal judgment, not on scientific research. I list those that I found inspiring and informative in regard to the themes explored in Rewire Happiness.
